Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Govind AI collects, why, and the choices you have. It covers the people who use Govind AI (our customers and their team members) and the people our customers talk to through it (their customers).

Who is responsible for what

For your account, team, and billing information, Govind AI decides how it is used. For the conversations, contacts, documents, and records you bring into Govind AI, you (our customer) decide how they are used and we process them on your behalf and on your instructions.

Information we collect

Account information: your name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash), and, if you use it, your Google account's name and email.
Organization information: name, website, industry, team members and their roles.
Content you add: knowledge documents, files, records, AI employee instructions, and workflows.
Conversations: messages, attachments, and contact details exchanged with your customers on WhatsApp and website chat.
Usage and technical data: sign-in sessions, IP address, browser, activity logs, and usage counts used for limits and billing.
Payment information: handled by Razorpay. We receive the subscription status, not your card details.

How we use it

To provide the service: run your AI employees, deliver messages, search your knowledge, and keep your data available to your team.
To keep it secure: authentication, rate limits, audit logs, and detecting abuse.
To bill you and enforce plan limits.
To support you and tell you about important changes to the service.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your content to train AI models.

Service providers we rely on

AI model providers (for example an OpenAI-compatible API) to generate replies, embeddings, and transcriptions from the content needed for each request.
Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform) to send and receive WhatsApp messages you connect.
Google, if you sign in with Google or import files from Google Drive; we only access files you choose.
Razorpay for payments.
Hosting, database, and storage providers that run the service.

Isolation, security, and retention

Each organization's data is isolated at the database level, access is limited by roles and permissions, sensitive actions can require approval, and changes are recorded in an audit log. Credentials for connected channels are encrypted. We keep data while your organization is active and for limited periods after for logs and backups. Owners can delete their organization, which removes its records and stored files.

Your choices and rights

You can view, correct, export, or delete your information from within Govind AI, or ask us to do it for you. If you are a customer of one of our customers, please contact that business first; we will help them respond to you. You can stop using Google sign-in and revoke Govind AI's access from your Google account settings at any time.
